Director, Pediatric Obesity Management Clinic
Mary Jo Messito, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant
Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Director
of the Pediatric Obesity Management Clinic responsible for
oversight of pediatric obesity treatment prevention and research
initiatives in the Bellevue Pediatric Clinic. Dr. Messito
is also responsible for supervising resident clinics and attending
in the Bellevue Newborn Nursery. She is the seminar leader
for 1st year medical school Patient Physician and Society Course,
teaches 3rd year medical students during pediatric clerkship,
and runs ambulatory pediatric electives for 4th year medical
students. Dr. Messito obtained her medical degree at
the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her residency
training at Boston City Hospital.
